About Linnaeus University
Linnaeus University is one of Sweden's newest higher education institutions. The university was formed when the University of Kalmar and Växjö University merged in 2010.
Linnaeus University is located in Kalmar and Växjö, and have approximately 31,000 students in 150 degree programmes and 2,500 single-subject courses. Linneaus' high-quality research has had an impact, both nationally and internationally. It covers the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and engineering, and represents a number of well-established research domains. Examples are labour market policy, welfare issues and entrepreneurship, but also life sciences, aquatic ecology, and timber and energy technology. International Business Strategy Programme
The program is designed for students seeking management positions at companies working with international challenges. Throughout the program the students’ analytical capacity is developed and stimulated. Focus is dedicated to an enhanced ability of understanding how firms can find competitive, dynamic and socially responsible solutions to international competitive challenges.
The teaching takes place in a multi-cultural learning environment, which prepares the students to work in international teams and knowledge intense market organization in global industrial companies. Strategic marketing and management issues as well as relationship marketing in networks are handled within the courses at the program.
