We are growing and would like to see you becoming one of our many talented software engineers!
Our mission is to develop cloud services, extending the opportunities of current and future ranges of Axis products by connecting them to the cloud and offer a cyber-secure environment. You will work in close collaboration with other teams at Axis creating the best solutions for our customers. We build on different cloud technologies and programming languages although we increasingly start to use Go as our preferred language. You will be expected to develop code that runs in the Cloud but also on-edge in our cameras and other devices.
We believe that autonomous DevOps teams where all individuals are heard is a good way to be organized. We believe that all team members should take ownership from defining user stories, to continuously developing and deploying code to production. To us, continuous deployment brings great opportunities for learning and at the same time great responsibilities towards our customers. The teams can innovate at high speed and make at the same time sure that the system quality and security is not jeopardized.

Required Skills
We believe that you are an open person who is ready to help your team members when needed, and open with the challenges you have, to making the team succeed. You feel comfortable in an environment where the status quo is challenged in a respectful manner with the objective of improving existing solutions. We believe that when you are in doubt, you stay curious and experiment to learn.
You have an education in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or in a similar field. You are preferably a senior undergraduate or in the last year in your Master. However, most importantly you have a keen interest in technology and programming. If you also have experience of Agile WoW, continuous integration and DevOps you might be the perfect candidate.
Examples of programming languages and tools we normally use are:
- Go, .NET, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript and C#
- GitHub, DockerHub
- Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
