Job Description
The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce of Washington D.C. (SACC-DC) is looking for a Marketing & Business intern starting January 2025.
This internship is a 12-month, full-time program divided into two phases: 6 months spent at SACC-DC, followed by a 6-month part-time arrangement, split between the SACC DC office and a SACC DC Member organization. This way, the intern gains maximum experience from both the non-profit and commercial sectors during their year in DC. Past interns have been placed at companies like Volvo Cars, Astra Zeneca, Axis Communication, SAAB North America, and Skanska.
Phase 2 of the internship is paid, and the intern receives a stipend funded through the Lars Bjarde Fund, which honors the late Lars Bjarde, former VP of SAAB North America and one of the founders of SACC DC.
Washington, DC, is a vibrant city and international hub. SACC DC works at the crossroads between politics and business and is part of a dynamic team at the House of Sweden at the Georgetown waterfront. We share facilities with the Swedish Embassy, SACC USA, and several Swedish companies.
After completing the internship at SACC DC, the intern will have gained hands-on experience and established a broad network to further their international careers.
