The mission of the SACC network is to facilitate and support trade, commerce, and investment between Sweden and the U.S. in both directions. Job Description


We are currently looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled intern to join our team in the role of IT Systems and CRM Intern. In this position, you will play a crucial part in the development and enhancement of our IT systems, processes, and programs. Your responsibilities will involve testing and implementing new systems, researching and recommending a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution, and providing training to the team on the adopted CRM system. Additionally, you will actively support the SACC-USA network in fulfilling our mission. Your involvement will include communication, member services, and the day-to-day management of SACC-USA office activities:
  • Develop and enhance IT systems, processes, and programs to streamline business operations.
  • Test and implement new systems to improve efficiency and functionality.
  • Research and recommend a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution tailored to the organization's needs.
  • Provide training to the team on the adopted CRM system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions.
  • Assist in planning and executing trade missions, enhancing member services, and managing day-to-day activities of the SACC-USA office.
  • Manage various projects aimed at advancing business development initiatives.
  • Write and produce electronic newsletters to communicate effectively with members.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms to promote business development activities.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates are welcome to apply for multiple positions at SACC, it's important to highlight that accepting an offered position and subsequently accepting a second position at SACC is not allowed. Doing so will result in disqualification from both positions.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled, or recent graduate, in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a related field.
  • Ability to take own initiative in driving business development initiatives.
  • Interest in web/social media for effective communication and promotion.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in both Swedish and English for effective communication.
  • J-1 visa eligibility for internship participation.
  • Familiarity with database management systems.


Benefits


This is a six-month internship starting in July of 2024. The internship does not provide monetary compensation as SACC-USA is a non-profit organization. As an intern abroad, you can apply for scholarships. Depending on the university program, some students may also be eligible for student aid from CSN. SACC-USA will assist with the visa application process. To be eligible for a J-1 visa, you must be a Swedish citizen.
