Catrin Fransson, Head of Retail & Executive Vice President, Swedbank is one of the Speakers on the topic “How to Increase Transatlantic Trade – What Can we Learn from each Country?” at the Entrepreneurial Days on Wednesday September 14, in Växjö.
“I will attend the Entrepreneurial Days 2011 to get to know people and even further understand how Swedbank can help companies growing, both outside Sweden and in Sweden. It is also a great opportunity to understand how we can be even better in delivering first class service to our corporate clients.
Entrepreneurship is perhaps the most undervalued skill of all. It is seldom we hear someone say that they are very good entrepreneurs. We need to see this as a skill and value it as a very important skill. We all know that entrepreneurs are important and that we need more of them to start companies so that we create jobs etc and thus we cannot emphasize entrepreneurs enough.
When growing a company, expanding to other markets become important. Swedbank helps a lot of companies grow through the years. Traditionally they first grow in their local market, then the regional and the nationwide market in Sweden. Today we see that some companies skip the first steps and in a truly globalized world take the international step directly. These companies have often a lot to bring back home to Sweden in a later stage. It is therefore very interesting and truly fascinating to be part of this networking event.
I recommend other companies to attend the Entrepreneurial Days 2011 because if they want to grow their business this is a great way to get new contacts and to get inspired by others to keep that open and determined mind of entrepreneurs intrigued by new ideas and experiences.”
