Memberships

What We Offer

SACC-USA offers many different programs and services for our members to expand their business, get their brands known and access our business network.

Joining a chamber of commerce is joining a community collaborating on trade and business. It means different things for different individuals and entities. If you are a start-up, it means a helpful opportunity; if you are a maturing company, it means business development; and if you are an established company, it often means maintaining institutional relationships and passing down knowledge or opportunities. No matter the reason for your presence, being part of a larger context is rewarding.

Member Services and Benefits

Members have access to curated trade delegations to the US capital and to different regions as well as public policy analysis as commissioned by SACC-USA. Members benefit through a better understanding of federal and state legislation in the pipeline and their implications. SACC-USA also tailors topical networking events for different member categories. Additionally, SACC-USA connects members with Congressional leaders and staffers and trade associations for incisive and regular briefs in-person, in online meetings or in the form of specialized newsletters.

A SACC-USA membership includes participation in the SACC flagship event Executive Forum in Washington D.C. every May (individual tickets for non-members are $3,000). The Forum convenes thought leaders from government, academia, and business and range of thematic and industrial sectors for a day of TED-style talks, roundtables, media interviews and networking, bookended by a dinner prior and one after the event.

A SACC-USA membership includes participation in the SACC flagship event Transatlantic Day in Stockholm every March (individual tickets for non-members are $5,000). The Day convenes high profiles, from SACC-USA Patron H.R.H. Prince Daniel, Ministers and Ambassadors to CEOs, Academic Leadership and astronauts for a day and evening of exchange under Chatham House Rules.
A SACC-USA membership includes participation in the 2-day SACC Summit which ambulates between different regions and takes place every September. In addition to the 20 regional SACC chambers and offices external guests join for a day of panels, presentations, and networking. The internal segment/day is akin to an annual general meeting. The Summit is a great opportunity to meet SACC regions and members to learn about the business climate in different regions in the US.

A joint initiative with the US Chamber of Commerce offspring Institute for Sustainable Development which pairs Swedish innovation with US market and capital. The Program identifies and promotes Swedish innovation supporting the green transition in the US and offers shark tank competitions for start-ups and trade fair style events for scale ups. Members are invited to participate in the Program at no charge.

SACC-USA is a J-1 visa sponsor designated by the US State Department and has since inception of the SACC-USA Trainee Program sourced and placed some 1,500 Swedish trainees in companies and other organizations in the US. Research fellows, scholars and summer workers are also eligible for the J-1 visa program. Former trainees can join the Alumni Association for lifelong networking, friendship and learning.
