Geert Hovens, Authorized Investment Representative, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania European Investment Office, attended Entrepreneurial Days 2010. Here is his story:
“The Entrepreneurial Days is a great opportunity to collect information about the U.S. business and investment climate and a terrific opportunity to meet with lots of other companies with the same aspirations and with all kinds of USA related service providers. I attended the Entrepreneurial Days 2010 primarily to get in touch with Swedish companies with ambitions to expand in the U.S. and get them interested in setting up in Pennsylvania. Because of that I signed up for the business matching from where I picked up a couple of leads. Some of these are still of interest. Besides that, I got many interesting new connections, I gave away and received about 50 business cards in each direction. During the conference there was a seminar in which practical guidance was given about how to do business in America that I really enjoyed. I believe it was well received by the participants and it was certainly well attended. I will most likely attend the Entrepreneurial Days 2011 in Växjö and Karlskrona as well!”
Entrepreneurial Days is the largest trade and networking event between the U.S. and Sweden. The 2011 edition will be in Växjö and Karlskrona, September 14-16.
