Margaret Anderson Kelliher, the Executive Director of the Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA), considers bringing a delegation of Minnesota software and information technology business leaders to attend Entrepreneurial Days at Telecom City in Karlskrona in September, 2011.

Ms. Anderson Kelliher met with Mr. Richard Liden during his March 2011 visit to Minnesota where he made an informal presentation to business and civic leaders at a reception hosted by SACC Minnesota at the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis. The MHTA has several hundred members including venture capitalists and corporate officers among the members of its Board of Directors. A good sized delegation of ten or more key leaders is likely to be organized to attend Entrepreneurial Days.

- I am very much encouraged by the prospect of the MHTA sending its first ever delegation to the Entrepreneurial Days. I have received positive feedback from key members of the MHTA board and they are very impressed with Mr. Lidens presentation, says Harlan Jacobs, Vice Chairman of SACC Minnesota.

Mr. Jacobs will coordinate the Chamber’s efforts to recruit venture capitalists and IT company CEOs to attend. Ms. Kelliher held elected office in the Minnesota State Legislature for many years and was a candidate for Governor in the 2010 elections.

Entrepreneurial Days 2011 will focus on transatlantic trade, green tech and telecom/ICT in a joint conference, with goals to present a diversified program that highlights the region’s strong and most important industries. This is a networking event that brings Americans and Swedes together for expanding trade and commerce across the Atlantic.
