Nicolas A. Boillot, Managing Partner, Hart Boillot: “Unlike many networking events, the Entrepreneurial Days event combined a common interest (Swedish entrepreneurship/innovation/growth) with a very wide range of businesses and business people in a serious but low-pressure environment. I felt that the people I met at the event were open and honest, and willing to say when it made sense to talk and when it did not. I have enjoyed every experience working with Swedish companies, and was not surprised by the no-nonsense (but warm) attitude I encountered at Entrepreneurial Days 2010. It was a productive, congenial, low-pressure environment to get to know people, learn, and potentially find common ground on which to build business relationships.
The reason we attended Entrepreneurial days is that we believed it would be a great place to expand our understanding of Sweden and continue our decade-old practice of helping Swedish companies market themselves in North America. The talks by Swedish innovators as well as the one-on-one networking opportunities were my favorite parts of the event. I also enjoyed my conversation with Agneta Rosenberg at the Fashion Show dinner; she is a firecracker, very well informed and connected, and inspiring in every way. I believe our personal connection and potential business relationship will continue for a long time.
I hope to be able to attend Entrepreneurial Days 2011; my expectation is to attend similar high-quality sessions and meet the similar high-quality professionals in a serious and congenial environment. I believe the one-on-one sessions in a “speed-dating” style were very effective, and I especially look forward to those. I look forward to learning more about some of the innovations coming out of Sweden, and possibly helping one or two companies that need to market in the US.”
