Robert, Marketing Intern at SACC-Philadelphia

I came to Philadelphia in mid May 2009 to work at the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce in Philadelphia as a marketing intern and I will be going home to Sweden, in late October 2009.
Working for SACC-Philadelphia has given me a broader perspective of how cultural differences and behavior makes an important and sometimes maybe a crucial role when conducting business overseas.
One of mine projects has been to developing the website in order to increase the amount of traffic.
Furthermore, I have been working with developing marketing materials, coordinating events, finding sponsors as well as providing matchmaking services for companies. It might sound a bit cliché but I really think that the American business culture have given me necessary experience to approach future challenges with confidence.
