SACC YP History
2011-2012
Therese Linde and Christopher Westerlund incorporate SACC YP into the offical SACC Chamber guidelines, making it a formal part of the regional chamber operations and tying the YP sections closer to the chambers. The local YP president is encouraged to be part of the local chambers board and additional guidance is created. SACC YP now reports directly to the president every month. New sections are started and among the new sections are; YP Santa Barbara and YP Stockholm.

The YP team is expanded to include Maria Bergman, Jakob Wallsten, Amanda Sundberg and Einar Emilsson. YP is officially introduced to the SACC-USA board by Christopher Westerlund at the Detroit board meeting. New sections are started and among the new sections are; YP Gothenburg, YP Philadelphia, YP Carolinas and YP Texas.

Christopher Westerlund and Urban Lundberg discuss the creation of SACC YP to help bring in younger professionals to SACC USA. Urban Lundberg reaches out to the board for support and Christopher Westerlund start reaching out to the chambers gather feedback and input from the chambers on the YP initiative. The basic framework for YP starts to form. SACC USA YP works closely with Chicago YP that has the most successful group of young professionals groups in the SACC USA network.
